It is beautiful to have twinkling, colorful lights spanning the room and adding a glow, hugging the Christmas tree, and lighting up each house on every street. It makes even the dark of night pretty and colorful!
These mini Christmas tree lights are fun too. They are perfect to use as counters for these printable Christmas Light Counting Cards for Numbers 1-10. My daughter likes that she can pretend to decorate the tree each time she does this activity!
This is a great addition to any Christmas or Winter themed unit study or even as a stand alone activity during the holiday season. This activity is great for quiet time or a one on one activity. To prep: Print and laminate the Christmas light counting cards (download below).
To use: Have your child cover the pictures of the lights on the counting cards with the correct number of christmas lights.
These cards are perfect for new learners who are not ready for independent counting. The kids simply cover each Christmas light on the card as they are counting. That way they know when to stop for each number.
