Free Printable Sight Word Outline
These free printable sight word outlines for pre-primer words were such a fun addition to our candy afternoon yesterday. I’m so happy to share them with you as day 27 of the 31 days of free printables for hands-on learning series. This way you can have as much fun as we did!

Materials needed for the free printable sight word activity:
Paper and/or card stock
laminating pouches (or page protectors)
candy hearts (optional)
We used the sight word outlines with candy hearts for a little bit of Valentine’s Day fun. Jaida created the words by placing the hearts in the outlines to create the different words.
You can even jazz it up and sort the colors to make rainbow letters with the hearts. Jaida was obsessed with patterns, so she also made the words with alternating-colored candies.
Even if you aren’t using these around Valentine’s Day they can still be a lot of fun.
Other ways to use the free printable sight word outlines:
- Use them with dry-erase crayons or markers
- Write with sprayable whipped cream
- Don’t laminate them and trace the outlines with small stickers
- Finger paint
