Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and my kids are getting ready to start passing out Valentine Cards to all of their friends. But, let’s get honest. No one wants another box of those disgusting conversation hearts. Instead of candy that no one wants to eat, give these fun bubble wand Valentine cards instead. They make a great alternative to the traditional Valentine candy & cards and give kids something to enjoy after the special day has passed.

Now, I know that I could go to just about any store in town and pick up a pack of Valentine cards for the kids, but with four kids to buy for, the extras that always happen on a trip to the store make printing at home a much better option.

Because if I walk into Target, that Dollar Spot is going to draw me in and I’m going end up with mini erasers, travel activities and door signs. This may have happened recently….

Plus, I use HP Instant Ink so that I never run out of ink and only have a to pay a small fee each month. No worries about printing in color as much as I want. (Which is good since Life Over C’s is all about educational printables for kids and print hundreds of full-color pages every month.)

So, not only am I saving money by not getting distracted by the Dollar Spot…

I know I’m not the only one…

But I can pick out the exact Valentine Card design that we want for each child.

I’ll confess, I did pick up these fun bubble wands at Target while grocery shopping.

See, I told you I’m easily distracted. *wink*

You can order some clear bubble wands on Amazon if you really want to avoid the store.

We’ll be printing these bubble wand Valentine cards on card stock and one of my daughters will be sharing them with her friends on Valentine’s Day.

So, tell me… what is your in-store shopping weakness?!?
