Prep:
Prepping for these activities is incredibly simple. The first step is to print the pages out and laminate each one. We prefer to laminate the pages to ensure the life of the activity is extended. This is highly suggested if you are using this in a classroom setting for math centers!
Next we assemble the two spinner activities by placing the paper clips onto the paper fasteners and poking them through the center of the spinners. Attach a small piece of tape to the back of the paper fastener to secure it.
Cat Graphing Spinner
Spin the spinner and place a mini cat eraser in the correct column on the graph. Continue until one of the objects reaches the top of the graph. This is another grate opportunity to discuss more than, less than or equal.

Cat I Spy Counting Game
Use the mini cat erasers as place markers as the children count each item. Record the answers on the bottom of the mat with an erasable marker or crayon.
(we LOVE Crayola Dry Erase Crayons!)

Sorting Spinner Game
To play, spin the spinner and place a mini cat eraser on the matching picture. This is a fantastic time to practice naming items because they will have the opportunity to repeat them many times. You can also work on counting when the child decides they are done spinning. Count the mini erasers on each color and discuss which item has the most, the least or the same.

Cat Pattern Mats
Next is a pattern mat. The patterns all mimic the ABAB format but with different colors to match the cats included in the pack.

Cat Spin and Cover Color Game
This is fantastic for working on color recognition skills. Cover the correct color of cat as the child spins the spinner. This is such a fun way to learn about matching and colors.

Alternative To Mini Cat Erasers
We have also included a page that has a whole set of each color of cat that we use in this pack. This is perfect if you didn’t have a chance to pick up cat mini erasers. These can easily be laminated to ensure ongoing use.

Where did you find the erasers?
I LOVE the added page of cover cut-outs so that the activities could still be used in the event that the user doesn’t have the actual mini erasers. Awesome idea!!
Yayy!! and yayy again!!! I purchased my kitty mini erasers 2 weeks ago in hopes that this awesome learning activity would become available. This activity will work well with our pet theme You rock!! Thanks ๐
