Step-by-Step Instructions for the Letter H Craft:

Step One:

When you’re ready to cut, kids should cut out each piece with scissors.

Teacher Tip: Tie in counting practice by having kids count the pieces before assembling!

Step Two:

Use a glue stick to put the house together. Some children will be able to look at your teacher example and do it themselves, while others will need more guidance. Provide step-by-step instructions for those that need it.

First, find the window and glue it into the empty space at the top of the H. Next, place and glue the door to the bottom space of the letter H. Next, place the roof near the top of the H and attach the chimney to the roof.

Teacher Tip: Consider using a blank piece of paper as a background, making it easier to glue the parts of the house together. This also makes it easier to assemble letter crafts into a book if desired.
