Did you know that Dragons love tacos? I actually came across a kid yesterday that didn’t know that, so if you also didn’t know, you have to grab one (actually two) of my daughter’s favorite books. “Dragons Love Tacos” and “Dragons Love Tacos 2” because they are perfect to read alongside these adorable taco mini eraser counting activities! Grab the free printable preschool counting grids below and get ready for a super fun way to work on counting skills with your preschoolers!
Printable Counting Games for Preschoolers
These printable counting games for preschoolers are a great way to tie math and literacy together.
My daughter immediately knew by looking at them that these math counting grid games go with a couple of her favorite books, “Dragons Love Tacos” and “Dragons Love Tacos 2” and she begged to use them so much that she ended up helping me laminate them.
Because there is no way I would let her use one of our activities without laminating first.

I mean, I use HP Instant Ink to save a ton of money, but I hate having to print activities a bunch of times just because I didn’t get it laminated before she “loved” on it.
Anyway, enough about our laminating issues… these printables are perfect for building preschool counting skills and even work great with kindergarteners and first graders who are working on counting to 100.
Mini Eraser Counting Activities
Grab your taco mini erasers to pair with these preschool counting grids!
If you didn’t find taco mini erasers at your local Target when they were available, you can substitute with pom poms, counting chips, or other math manipulatives that you have on hand. There’s no need to skip enjoying this activity just because you couldn’t find the mini erasers.

Mini erasers are great for working on fine motor skills with your preschoolers without them even realizing they are working.
My daughter loved feeding the dragon the ‘spicy’ tacos!
Spanish Counting Games for Preschool
Many schools are adding Spanish into the curricula in early elementary, so I also included a Spanish version for you to use.
This is perfect for math centers in Spanish immersion schools and classrooms or even if you just want to introduce your kids to another language.
Did you know that “Dragons Love Tacos” comes in Spanish too???
